We are excited to announce that DIG was recently recognized by the Printing Industries of Virginia at their Best in Print 2005 Awards. This year's ceremony was held January 28th in Williamsburg, Virginia.

In their debut showing at these awards, DIG won or placed second in every category entered, even sweeping the "Use of Variable Data" category:

First Place - Use of Variable Data: First Market Bank; Market Share Program developed to promote customer loyalty by rewarding current clients, creating awareness for First Market Bank's community involvement initiatives and educating clients on new products and services.

Award of Excellence - Use of Variable Data: First Market Bank; Bank Notes company newsletter developed to reward employee excellence, re-enforce corporate values and promote employee involvement in the community.

First Place - Catalogs: The Robins School of Business Management Institute, part of the University of Richmond; Winter Catalog for Professional Development Courses developed to increase registration for Winter courses.

First Place - Folders: The Robins School of Business Management Institute, part of the University of Richmond; Customized Leadership Programs brochure developed to create awareness and support the sale of customized leadership program development to Virginia corporations.

First Place - Invitations: Kleos Magazine; lead generation piece inviting area businesses to be profiled in the 2006 edition of the magazine.

Award of Excellence - Newsletters: First Market Bank; Bank Notes company newsletter developed to reward employee excellence, re-enforce corporate values, and promote employee involvement in the community.

DIG's President Kate Dunn delivered a brief speech challenging Virginia's Printing Industry to focus their efforts on helping clients achieve their business objectives. "Doing so," stated Dunn "is the only way to provide true value and fight the continued commoditization of the print market." She presented the First Annual "Digging Up Results" Award to Worth Higgins and Associates for their Masterworks Concert Series Renewal Package Campaign which helped to increase season ticket sales for their client, Masterworks.
