If your homepage is your welcome mat, your “About Us” page is your business card.
Rather than optimizing this page, far too many businesses simply list a handful of employees, share some historical milestones, and call it a day. And they are missing out.
Here are some tips to help you craft a winning “About Us” page:
1. Change the selection option title to “Why Us?” and describe in a 35-word positioning statement the type of business you are, what you offer, and what makes you special.
2. Share tangible results you’ve helped your customers achieve, the more demonstrable the better.
3. Include a brief company description explaining where you're based, how long you've been in business, and your business philosophy.
