The team behind this amazing campaign managed to engage half of the Internet and provoke unequivocally positive results from social media sites. YouTube videos amassed hundreds of views and evoked overwhelmingly positive comments — and that never happens. The Old Spice Twitter account accumulated tens of thousands of new followers. The architects of the campaign engaged celebrities, influencers, Joe Q. Public and popular social media sites using a relevant voice for each audience. Old Spice has set a standard that marketing experts will admire and follow in the years to come. The bar has been raised.
