The reason for one of my favorite blues songs is the title of today’s blog is because a chain of events that occurred recently. I had a problem with my alarm clock this morning and ended up getting to work early because I was in a rush, so early I had to wait for Jeff to come and unlock the door. Then the phone conference this morning got postponed to this afternoon but I forgot to log in because I was busy with the label maker that broke, which Laura added to the list of things to be deducted from my pay. The list consists of my desktop that was taken over by a virus on Monday, the replacement laptop I used in place of the desktop which went to a blue error screen saying physical data cleansing, then the label maker which will not print properly and has a broken cutter. Because of all this I was deemed hazardous to technology and spent the day filing and helping Laura with a new proposal. However there is a bright side to all of this; the desktop was returned today along with the laptop which was fixed quite speedily and we have enough Staples’ coupons to get a new label maker.
