DIG's founder and President, Kate Dunn spearheaded the development of Choice 1:1, the personalized printing division of Choice Communications, Inc. in 1998. Awards for projects developed for General Mills, Nabisco and Capital One quickly followed and Choice became a national leader in the use of variable content and imagery to achieve marketing objectives. Three cases submited by Choice were published in the 2003 PODi Best Practices in Digital Print. Later that year, DIG opened its doors offering personalized communication strategy development and program execution.

Kate Dunn, CEO
Kate Dunn is CEO and founder of Digital Innovations Group (DIG) in Richmond, Virginia.Kate started her professional career in marketing with Xerox Corporation. After 15 years with the company, she joined Choice Communications, Inc. as vice president of marketing and sales.
She was instrumental in the development of Choice 1:1, the personalized printing division in 1998. Choice was widely recognized as a leader in relevant marketing with four cases added to the PODi Best Practices in Digital Print in 2003.
Kate is a frequent guest lecturer in both the undergraduate and post-graduate programs at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business on the subjects of integrated marketing and sales. Ms. Dunn is a Cum Laude graduate from Villanova University and currently resides in Midlothian, Virginia with her husband Scott, their three children and her best friend, Lucky.
Norman Brame, Business Development Consultant
Norman started his professional career in sales as a local Account Executive for television stations in the Raleigh-Durham, NC markets and the Atlanta market. Upon moving to Katz Communications, Inc. in the early 1990’s, Norman became Regional Sales Development Manager and was responsible for developing successful regional multi-media marketing campaigns for Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, fast food and retail clients.
As president of Phase 3 Communications in Greensboro, NC, Norman brought an entirely new form of marketing to the region by creating a firm specializing in targeted, personalized sales campaigns and collateral. The company produced dynamic interactive messages that improved response rates and generated increased sales results.
Norman speaks at industry events such as the Variables Conference in Charlotte and the DICE national conference. In addition, he has appeared in the industry trade journal, Quick Printing Magazine. Mr. Brame graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Advertising from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Lynn Robbins, Brand Strategist and Account Executive
Prior to joining DIG, Lynn served as Marketing Coordinator and Project Manager for First Market Bank, where she managed vendor relations and overall traffic for the $1.3 billion institution. Lynn is a graduate of Syracuse University and is a seasoned professional in marketing and customer service.
Laura Gredel, VP of Operations
Laura began her career at Pine Tree Press in prepress as a plate maker and stripper. She later moved to Choice Communications, where she held multiple positions including estimator, client services manager and production manager. Working closely with sales, Laura developed project management processes to ensure the production quality and data integrity of Choice’s award-winning relevant marketing projects.Laura appreciates the open-mindedness at DIG, which allows individuals to be creative and find value in each team member's input. “Every day there are exciting challenges and projects to work through, and there is never a dull moment,” notes Laura.
Laura’s responsibilities include project management and pretty much anything else that does not involve a Mac. She lives in Mechanicsville, Virginia with her husband Kevin, their two children and small army of furry animals.
Jeff Hennessy, Director of Creative Services
Jeff Hennessy joined DIG's creative department as a graphic designer in 2004. His experience and talent have elevated him to the leader of the design team. Jeff is known as the “go to guy” for anything technical. His fearless approach to learning has allowed DIG to grow faster than planned, and he is a valued resource for DIG and its clients. Jeff is a graduate of Lynchburg College with a BA in art and resides in Richmond, Virginia with his wife, Carolyn, one adorable son and Sophie, a pug who rules the roost.
Kristina Kerns, Graphic Designer
Kristina is the newest addition to the design team. She graduated magna cum laude from Waynesburg University with a BA in digital media, graphic design and advertising and a minor in marketing. Kristina has vast knowledge of marketing channels and the latest technology, making her a tremendous asset to the company. Her unique design and illustration talents bring a fresh look to DIG’s marketing campaigns. She fancies designer shoes, which made her a big hit with Kate. She lives in Midlothian and is engaged to her best friend, Chris.
